Welcome to CRPD Golf Columbus, Ohio

City of Columbus Golf COVID-19 Update
Golf Course Guidelines

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Golf Division will be open for business on Tuesday, May 12. We have been working in conjunction with Columbus Public Health, the State of Ohio and the City of Columbus Mayor’s Office and Administration to monitor the coronavirus pandemic. We are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our golfers, volunteers and our staff. We will be operating under the listed guidelines until further notice.

Please read the entire list before arriving at the golf course. If a guest is observed not following these guidelines, they will be removed from the course without a refund.

Tee Times:

  • Visit CRPDGolf.com to make a tee time online or call one of our six golf courses to make a tee time over the phone. TEE TIMES ARE MANDATORY.
  • Golf courses are listed below:
  • Airport            614-645-3127
  • Champions        614-645-7111 (Date may vary due to construction, please call)
  • Mentel Memorial    614-645-3050
  • Raymond Memorial    614-645-3276
  • Turnberry        614-645-2582
  • Wilson Road        614-645-3221
  • Groups of less than four may be paired with other golfers. Golfers are required to follow the six foot social distancing requirement.
  • Tee times will be spaced out more to adjust for more walkers and to discourage stacking on the tee boxes.

Checking In and Payment:

  • DO NOT arrive earlier than needed before your tee time.
  • Payment can be made inside the pro shop. Credit card transactions are preferred.
  • The shop will be limited to no more than four guests. Observe the markings on the floor and the doors.
  • Masks are RECOMMENDED inside the clubhouse.
  • If playing with a group, we would prefer one person pay for the entire reservation and have the other players use an electronic form of payment to settle-up later. This will aid in speeding up the check-in process and reduce traffic in the pro shop.
  • Pencils will not be available. We encourage you to keep score electronically on our app, City of Columbus Golf Courses, downloadable at iPhone or Android.
  • No rainchecks will be given out.

Carts:

  • Pull carts may be available for rent. Carts will be sanitized after each use. Please do not put pull carts back in the stack of unused carts.
  • Golf carts will be available for single riders. Exceptions are persons with disabilities accompanied by a caretaker and golfers from the same HOUSEHOLD. With a limited number of carts, one may not be available for your tee time. Anyone observed sharing a cart after teeing off will result in both golfers being asked to leave without refund. Golf carts will be disinfected after each use.

Clubhouse:

  • DO NOT arrive earlier than needed before your tee time, and do not congregate around the clubhouse.
  • The shop will be limited to no more than four guests. Observe the markings on the floor and the doors.
  • The wearing of masks indoors is RECOMMENDED.
  • Restroom are accessible and will be cleaned regularly but not after each use.

Practice Green:

  • The practice green will be accessible to those who are next to tee off, or “on deck.”
  • There are no holes on the practice greens.
  • During league play there will be a designated putting area for those teeing off at on the front nine and back nine. The on deck rule still applies for league play.

Driving Ranges:
Ranges will be open. Those using the ranges will need to stay inside the designated marked areas to ensure proper social distancing.
The number of golfers on the ranges will be limited.
Golfers with tee times get priority on the ranges at all times.

Course Rules:

  • Please wait until you are called to the tee box. If no staff member is present, wait until the group teeing off has left the tee box before approaching.
  • Current social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times, including the tee boxes and greens.
  • Leave flagsticks in at all times.
  • Cups will be filled with a piece of a pool noodle. This will prevent the golf balls from dropping into the bottom of the cups and removed without needing to remove the flagsticks.
  • Do not touch anything on the golf course that does not belong to you. This includes playing partners’ golf balls, clubs, bags, etc.
  • All bunker rakes, ball washers, benches and water stations have been removed.
  • Port-a-Pots are available. Please make sure to use hand sanitizers. Staff will be disinfecting port-a-pots regularly but not after each use.
  • At the conclusion of your round, we ask that you empty the golf carts of all trash. This will aid in the safety of our staff and volunteers when cleaning and moving your carts.

Food and Beverage Service:

  • All food and beverage will be carry-out only. No seating will be available in the clubhouse.
  • Staffing hours may vary from normal operating times.
  • Social distancing requirements are in effect in the concession areas. Please observe all signage and markings on the floors.
